CNC lathe RFQ checklist for buyers

A clear lathe enquiry connects the workpiece drawing and required operations with the machine configuration, workshop conditions and delivery scope.

Workpiece and production

Attach a drawing or dimensioned description, material, maximum diameter and length, blank condition, mass, machining surfaces, tolerances and surface finish target.
List turning, facing, boring and threading operations, along with any milling features. Include batch size and recurring production needs.

Include a preferred model if known. Discuss swing, center distance, spindle passage, chucking and workpiece support using the original model specifications.
State controller preferences, turret and tooling needs, and any live-tool, automation or accessory requirements. Ask the team to confirm the applicable configuration.

Provide voltage, frequency, phase, available space and installation access. Include destination country and port, delivery target, packing and document requirements.
Request a clear list of included and optional items. This checklist prepares the discussion; technical suitability, commercial terms and final order remain subject to human confirmation.
